Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, of Anambra State has renamed Ministry of Commerce and Industry as Ministry of Industry.
Soludo made the announcement at the Executive Council Meeting of State Government.
The Trade and Commerce aspect of the Ministry will, until further notice, be domiciled under the Governor’s Office, he said.
In other words, all activities relating to trade and commerce should be channeled to the Governor’s Office.
On the other hand, the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Dr. Obinna Ngonadi will henceforth be addressed as the Commissioner for Industry.
