You’re Style Of Governance Deceptive, Ondo Elites Tell Aiyedatiwa

Published

on

The Ondo Elites Assembly (OEA) has charged that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s administration is dishonest and lacking in sincerity.

The group also bemoaned Aiyedatiwa’s attempt to use misinformation and lies to downplay the accomplishments and legacies of his late boss, Rotimi Akeredolu.

The group said that Aiyedatiwa is using stupid propaganda to instigate the people of the state against the late Akeredolu, who was his benefactor, in a statement signed by Chief Yemi Oladiran, its general secretary.

OEA was responding to reports that Aiyedatiwa has approved the payment of January 2017 salary arrears and the alleged “hidden money” that is now being utilised by his administration.

“There is no hidden money anywhere,” the group declared. The seed that is now ready for harvesting was sown by the Akeredolu administration.

“Now that he is benefiting, Aiyedatiwa is too dishonest to give gratitude to his late employer. It is the pinnacle of immorality.”In actuality, the federal government has given the state more money than it did previously.

“For example, N7 billion was provided by the Federal Government to settle some of the unpaid invoices to contractors. But halfway through the procedure, the payments were stopped by Aiyedatiwa, the current governor and acting governor at the time. The funds are still in state coffers.

“Another N7 billion was also released by the Federal Government in December while Mr. Aiyedatiwa held the position of acting governor. This was followed by an additional 9 billion paid in this New Year.

“Pensioners’ palliative has been paid monthly since inception, and the pensioners can attest to this. It was approved, along with other palliatives, by the late former governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, and the funds were made available as well.

“Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, like other institutions, receives its monthly subvention from the state government whenever salaries are being paid. Also, a monthly release of N200 million for gratuity has been in place since the Akeredolu administration began.”

Ignore The Rumour, Obi Not Quitting Labour Party, Berates Mischief Makers

Published

on

The Peter Obi Media Reach, POMR wishes to outrightly dismiss trending fake and fallacious news story suggesting that he was parting ways with the Labour Party.

This is not true and it did not originate from Obi or the Obedient Movement but from mischief makers bent on sowing the seed of discord in the party.

In a statement from his Media Aide, Michael Jude Nwolisa, these rising misdemeanours on the party did not start today as they set out to destroy and disorganize the party all to get at Obi and derail the inevitable journey of rescuing Nigeria.

Presently our principal is preoccupied with making Nigeria work not on partisan politics which ended on October 26, 2023, when the Supreme Court of the land took their final decision on the general elections.

Those bent on creating a crisis in the Labour Party are enemies of democracy wishing for the failed status quo to remain.

OBI’s focus at the moment is on creating an environment where democracy is to be practised according to the defined tenets not the rascality  and all forms of impunity prevalent in the country today

Peter Obi therefore would like to assure Nigerians, particularly the Obidient family that his way with Labour is unshaken and intact and that the struggle to rescue Nigeria from the criminal gangs holding it down will not stop until it’s achieved through the will of the Nigerian people.
