Borno State: NEMA Commences Food Distribution For 35,508 Households Of IDPs


National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has commenced the routine distribution of food items for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in camps host communities and liberated communities in Borno state.

In a statement by Abdulkadir Ibrahim, Principal Information Officer, NEMA North East, each benefitting household is expected to receive a ration consisting of rice, beans, maize, vegetable oil, salt, tomato paste, and seasoning. The distribution of the food item followed approval by the Director-General NEMA, Alhaji Mustapha Ahmed Habib, staff of the North East Zonal office led by the Zonal Coordinator, Wagami Lydia Madu.
