Property Merchant, Bisi Onasanya Celebrates AFRIMA

Onosanya with associates

Still basking in the euphoria of his landmark 60th birthday, which he celebrated modestly, former MD/CEO of Nigeria’s foremost commercial bank, First Bank, Dr. Bisi Onasanya, recently serenaded the members of the 13-perso International Jury for All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) with a private dinner on September 6, of which he is the patron.

The event tagged Patron’s Dinner with the Jury held in Lagos is an iconic event that recognises and celebrates unrelenting support and service the Jury has given to AFRIMA and the African creative industry (music, arts, culture,) at large.

Onasanya stated that, “AFRIMA has been a gracious movement supporting the creative industry and the huge population of youths in Africa. I have insatiable and inestimable support to the work of AFRIMA. The importance of my work is to strengthen the commercial ties between AFRIMA and the corporate world. I have never been a part of failure and by God’s grace and the support of my wife, I will give my all.”

The AFRIMA patron retired at the apex of the banking industry, after spending over three decades, and almost immediately went straight into his passion of many years, the real estate development and management industry. He was in his best element during the event, which was held amidst pomp and ceremony in Lagos with family, close friends, prominent realtors, colleagues and close corporate associates in attendance, all pouring encomiums and showers of praises on him for longer life in good/sound health and esteemed prosperity.

Good food and dishes of assorted sorts and vintage drinks were in abundant supply, while light and sonorous music accompanied the delicacies; just as the birthday boy was full of thanks to God for sparing his life thus far even as he thanked his lovely wife, children, friends of yore, and close associates for coming to share in his day of glory and accomplished attainment in life.
